Place and Trim of Type 1 sub-base and Associated Road Stones

With our extensive range of motor graders, rollers and experienced personnel we have carried out many substantial contracts involving the trimming of sub-formation, placing and trimming of capping stone and laying and trimming of Type 1 sub-base.

Sub-Formation / Sub-Grade

Trimming, whether virgin ground, stabilised material or general fill, can always be carried out to plus tolerance, enabling savings on capping stones. This is usually carried out on a square metre basis.

capping layer can be laid trimmed to plus tolerance, enabling savings on Type 1 sub-base. This can be carried out on a square meter basis.

Type 1 sub-base

Due to our experience of laying and trimming Type 1 sub-base, we pride ourselves on the ability to work to the finest of tolerances. Our accuracy guarantees final levels to achieve surfacing plus tolerances, once again enabling large savings for the contractor on tarmac products. This can be carried out on a square or cubic metre basis.
